A novel flat beam steering prototype based on the specific arrangement of a cylindrical unit cell is designed, manufactured and tested. The wideband broad scanning capability demonstrated at Ku-band. We have considered two configurations, first with circular rings (CR) defined permittivity values for respective radial distance from center aperture, second rods that shall be placed CR, which mimics permittivity. structure generated Vero CMYK full color wax, utilizes Multijet 3D printing method. proposed designed in operating frequency 12 GHz (λ = 25 mm) separation between parallel plates are maintained 12.5 mm (0.5λ) TE10 mode operation. diameter 100 (4λ) where radius cylinders varies 0.5 to 3.5 corresponding relative 0.6687 2.4395. overall height plates. minimum feed WR-75 waveguide. Irises effect performed obtain impedance matching bands. Beam radiated waves observed rotation angles 0∘, 30∘, 45∘, 75∘ 90∘ waveguide along edge system weighs 179 g, signifies light weight characteristics. Moreover, shows low return loss over 10 15 band.
